The Marketing Manager is a member of the Sales & Marketing team. The primary responsibilities of this position are to manage the day-to-day marketing activities for Xoran in line with department and company objectives; manage the content marketing strategy to drive engagement and new sales leads; and ensure consistent branding of Xoran’s products.
Xoran does not offer remote work options for this role at this time. The position is an in-person role located in our Ann Arbor, MI office. Xoran supports the health and safety of employees and customers. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employment.
Responsibilities
- Create brand and marketing messages for Xoran’s digital and traditional platforms that are consistent with the company’s goals, consistently driving relevant messages to the target audiences.
- Oversee the tactical execution of all marketing messages through the appropriate channels; Xoran website, email newsletters, social media, advertisement, marketing materials, tradeshows, and other events.
- Create clear metrics for initiatives, track progress, and evaluate results of plans, initiatives, and events.
- Support the Director of Marketing in creating strategic marketing and communication plans.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing to design, implement, and facilitate an annual marketing plan and budget.
- Guide in-house marketing team and consultants to meet timelines and deliverables; track progress in project management platform (Basecamp).
- Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategy for product launches and expansion into new markets.
- Support the Sales Team in creating targeted marketing initiatives that create qualified leads, track progress.
- Support and identify tradeshows appropriate for Xoran’s participation; coordinate support and implement participation in shows.
- Create industry and customer relationships through attendance at tradeshows; use lessons learned from show participation to drive changes for improvements in marketing materials.

- Travel required up to 25%
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- Three (3) to five (5) years of marketing experience
- Proficient with marketing software (WordPress, MailChimp, Salesforce) as well as MS Office suite
- Experience marketing and advertising on social media channels
- Experience managing email campaigns and contacts
- Experience with managing advertising budget
