The Veterinary Director of Sales is a key position at Xoran Technologies; a fast-growing medical device manufacturing company located in Ann Arbor, MI. The primary responsibility of this position is to manage and grow Xoran’s veterinary sales business. This position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and is an exempt, full-time position.


  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals by obtaining new sales, servicing existing accounts, and establishing new accounts.
  • Oversee all U.S. veterinary sales, through direct reps and indirect sales organizations.
  • Plan and coordinate marketing materials and attend meetings and trade shows to develop prospect relationships, understand user needs, and gather leads.
  • Assist in training programs for existing and future customers.
  • Work with Xoran’s Customer Service team to ensure a smooth customer-focused experience.
  • Research target markets and user needs, create competitive analysis, and drive strategy to improve product offerings.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy by working directly with other Xoran departments.
  • Identify new channels for sales opportunities of VetCAT and vTRON.


  • Self-starter, able to work independently and take initiative.
  • Ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong team player who works to make the entire team successful regardless of reporting lines; not bound by strict role description, embraces responsibility shifts during program evolution.
  • Overnight domestic travel up to 75% within assigned region.
  • Proven track record of quota attainment.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business, or related field.
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated sales and/or marketing experience.
  • Capital equipment and radiology sales experience a plus.
