How this is calculated: the chart above shows what actually moves through your account each year: scan and new procedure revenue, after tax, minus your loan payment (financed) or full purchase price (cash), minus an annual service contract from Year 2 on, plus Section 179 savings in Year 1. The 5-Year ROI figure is an internal rate of return, the same calculation method used in the internal Xoran ROI model, which treats the full purchase price as a Year 0 investment regardless of financing, a standard convention for comparing investment returns rather than a description of literal cash movement. Portable vs. fixed cone beam CT
A FIXED CBCT system requires a dedicated room with electrical upgrades and reinforced walls and floor before it can start scanning a single patient.
