For medical interventions … image-quality matters and a full-body CT won’t fit in your ICU or OR. For those moments when having a clear picture would make a difference—xCAT IQ is designed to meet the specific needs of physicians who require high-definition images when time is of the essence.
xCAT is designed with a small footprint and turns on a dime to be used in any OR setting. xCAT can be taken on a standard elevator and plugged into any standard outlet allowing you to bring the CT directly to the patient with minimal movements to the patient.
xCAT software is designed with the user in mind. Our longest scan protocol is 45 seconds with less than 2-minute reconstruction. From setup to repositioning after the scan, the process should take less than 10 minutes total, with ability to then upload images directly into your PACS system.
Xoran prides itself on always striving for the ALARA principle. We want to maintain a low radiation dose that is equivalent to ~1/4 of that received on a full size CT. This allows for lower dose to the patient, as well as simpler setup and for less shielding requirements.
– Xoran strives to deliver and continue to improve upon excellent image quality. With a volumetric scan through use of CBCT, scans can be manipulated and cut with no breakdown in the image quality.
